From the Stylistics to Public Enemy. The lackluster NBA Playoffs to Hot 97 Summer Jam memories. Bang ‘Em Smurf to Asher Roth. Hip-hop’s most entertaining couple returns on a hot summer-like day and we don’t even have to show our asses to gain fans. Ha!

@dany&ell: yo, listening to this one now … new way of saying “no homo” < “No E. Lynn. No Ellen.”
That Stylistics track is the truth, too. I have similar memories of watching football with the TV on mute while listening to EWF and Sade.
Musical entry point: Michael Jackson’s Bad album. i was petrified of saying the word “butt.” at the time. I was 8.
Good podcast.
